The Positive Site of a Community, part 2: Triberr

One of my favourite platforms on the Net, Triberr, got into trouble during a routine database backup. And the community reacted in numbers.., and reacted supportively.

Domain Name

Less than a month earlier we woke up to an unreachable Triberr. Due to various reasons the team had neglected to renew the domain name. For more than 24 hours Triberr was unreachable and the plugin caused WordPress blogs to stop loading.
Here some people reacted a bit crossed.., because, let’s face it, that was a mistake which could have easily been avoided.

Dino apologised and explained in his own unique way. The 80+ comments reflected nothing but support.

The Social Philosophy

110105- Don't PanicGreat changes in our lives ask for great adaptations in our lives.

Moving in together, having a baby, starting a new job or a business.., finding out the world is a sphere. All these things require a lot from a human. These changes do not come easy, we have to adapt our way of thinking.., our behaviour.., our philosophy.

The same goes for social media. It changes so much in the way we communicate, the way we interact with others, the way we do business.., that we have do adapt our way of thinking and adopt the social philosophy.

Top Secret Social Network No One Talks About

I’ve been suspecting it for a while, but only mentioned it in confidence. But now I know…top players in the blogosphere are keeping Triberr a secret.

Hehe…get it? “Top” secret? Get it? oh, nevermind…moving on… :-p

Of course, I’m biased, but I dare you…I double-dog dare you to find a platform that came out in the last year that has done more to help bloggers?

In fact, if there is such a platform, I’d like to be on it myself, so…thnx in advance if you manage to prove me wrong.

And yet, you will find not a single mention of Triberr on big blogs that bill themselves as blogs that help bloggers blog. Curious, don’t you think? ;-)

But I ain’t mad atcha…
